SJR 9, a proposed Constitutional Amendment which would have made it much easier for county and local governments to pass non-school bonds and levies (and thereby increasing our property taxes) was not brought to a final passage vote in the House of Delegates.
Accordingly, SJR 9 will not go to the voters for a referendum vote and it will not become law.
