DMV Unscrambles SNAFU

Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Sharp was being deployed out of state and much concerned about his upcoming West Virginia driver's license renewal, and if it would be a "SNAFU" (Situation Normal, All Fouled Up), especially since one (unauthorized) website indicated that this would be the case.

However, after he and I brought his situation to the attention of the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV), DMV Commissioner Joe Miller assured Kevin that "an active duty licensee located out of state" is "not required" to renew their driver's license since "West Virginia law provides that the driver's license of any person in the armed forces shall expire six months AFTER (emphasis added) the date on which the person is separated from active duty in the armed forces under honorable circumstances.".

  1. Thanks for unscrambling the problem.

  2. Way to go, Larry

  3. This vet thanks you for your support!

  4. Larry,
I am very serious when I say that I have one verse that I always have related to you as long as I have known you - "You will know them by their fruits."
This is how I know you, and I believe that there are many others who feel the same way about you, and who also are grateful to you.
    Roy G.
